Position Summary

The Coordinator Podiatry (Research) sits within WA Government and holds primary responsibility for research direction inside the podiatry department of the Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group. Working hand-in-hand with the Heart and Vascular Research Institute and the University of Western Australia, you will shape studies that generate practical insights for patient care. What You'll Do

• Take charge of planning, running and reviewing every research stream attached to the Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group Podiatry department
• Build and maintain productive working links with the Heart and Vascular Research Institute and the University of Western Australia
• Design study protocols, secure necessary approvals and oversee recruitment and data gathering
• Track progress, manage budgets and timelines, and prepare concise reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Support department staff who contribute to studies so that clinical service and research remain well balanced
• Identify emerging research questions that align with local service priorities and available partnerships

Requirements

• Demonstrated skill in coordinating multi-partner research activity within a health or academic setting
• Sound working knowledge of podiatry or related clinical research methods
• Ability to organise complex work streams, meet deadlines and communicate results clearly to mixed audiences
• Experience liaising across government, institute and university environments
• High-level attention to research quality, ethics and accurate documentation
