About the Role
As a Cooling Tower Technician with OBR Cooling Towers, you'll be responsible for the inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of cooling tower systems that serve commercial and industrial clients throughout the Seattle, King County area. This full-time position based in Seattle involves regular travel to client sites, where you'll work on both modular package units and large field-erected installations. You'll tackle hands-on technical challenges independently and as part of our team in fast-paced, real-world environments.
What You'll Do
- Inspect cooling tower equipment to assess cleaning needs and structural condition
- Clean, descale, and maintain cooling tower components according to industry standards
- Identify mechanical issues and report findings to management for resolution
- Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during maintenance operations
- Perform minor repairs and adjustments to cooling tower systems
- Travel throughout the Seattle region to customer sites, typically multiple times per week
- Document work completed and equipment conditions in detailed records
