Controller

Bravo is seeking an experienced Controller to join our finance team in Cedar Creek, TX. As Controller, you will lead accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and drive compliance while supporting the company's growth.

About the Role

The Controller position offers the opportunity to oversee all accounting functions and financial reporting for our organization. You will manage the accounting department, establish internal controls, and ensure adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). This leadership role reports directly to senior management and shapes the financial health and operational integrity of Bravo.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
• Establish and maintain internal accounting controls and financial reporting systems
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Lead and mentor the accounting team in Cedar Creek
• Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance and filing
• Collaborate with management on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Implement and improve accounting processes and systems

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a controller or similar supervisory role
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes
• Proven leadership and team management abilities
• CPA or progress toward certification preferred
