In this full-time position, you'll help manage conflict-of-interest reviews and contribute to the efficient administration of one of the nation's established full-service law practices.
About the Role
As a Conflicts Analyst at McNees Wallace & Nurick, you'll play a critical part in maintaining the firm's integrity by ensuring compliance with conflict-of-interest policies and procedures. You'll work with legal and administrative teams to review potential conflicts, maintain accurate conflict tracking systems, and support the firm's commitment to ethical practice across our client base.
What You'll Do
- Review and analyze potential conflicts of interest for clients, opposing parties, and adverse interests
- Maintain and update conflict management databases and tracking systems
- Research client backgrounds and relationships to identify possible conflicts
- Communicate conflict findings to attorneys and practice group leaders in a clear, timely manner
- Assist with conflict clearance processes and documentation
- Support the firm's conflict-avoidance procedures and compliance initiatives
- Work collaboratively with partners, associates, and administrative staff across multiple practice areas
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex information
- Proficiency with database management and legal research tools
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with law firm operations or legal compliance is a plus
- Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
