Commercial Property Manager

Robert Half is seeking a Commercial Property Manager to join its team in Hanover, Anne Arundel County. In this full‑time role, you will oversee daily operations, financial performance, and tenant relations for a portfolio of commercial properties.

About the Role

As a Commercial Property Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders. You will ensure that properties are well‑maintained, financially sound, and positioned for long‑term success while supporting the company’s reputation for excellence in property management.

What You'll Do

• Supervise day‑to‑day property operations, including maintenance, security, and vendor coordination
• Prepare and monitor budgets, rent rolls, and expense reports to meet financial targets
• Develop and execute leasing strategies to achieve and sustain high occupancy rates
• Address tenant inquiries, resolve concerns, and foster positive relationships to improve satisfaction
• Conduct regular property inspections and implement preventive maintenance programs
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, lease agreements, and company policies
• Prepare reports for senior management and assist with audit preparations

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing commercial real estate assets, preferably office, retail, or industrial properties
• Strong financial acumen with ability to analyze statements, forecast cash flow, and control expenses
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective tenant and vendor engagement
• Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, AppFolio) and Microsoft Office suite
• Detail‑oriented with solid organizational abilities to juggle multiple priorities
• Knowledge of fair housing laws, building codes, and safety standards
• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance, or a related field preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits
