About the Role
As a Commercial Furniture Installer with Storr Office Environments, you'll play a key part in transforming office environments across our service region. Working hands-on with commercial clients, you'll assemble, configure, and install furniture systems that form the foundation of modern workplaces. This full-time position rewards craftsmanship, reliability, and problem-solving.
What You'll Do
- Assemble and install commercial furniture systems, workstations, and office components at client locations
- Read and interpret technical drawings, assembly diagrams, and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively
- Measure spaces and verify installations meet design specifications and safety standards
- Troubleshoot and solve on-site installation challenges
- Communicate with team members and clients to ensure project success
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles to company standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in commercial furniture installation or related skilled trades
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow specifications accurately
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and position heavy furniture and components
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites throughout Wake County and surrounding areas
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license
