As a CNC Machining Setup Specialist in our Metals department, you'll be the technical expert who transforms raw material into precision components. Responsibilities
- Configure CNC machines for production setups, including tool changes, offset entry, and work-holding verification
- Conduct thorough first-piece inspections and document setup validation
- Verify machine geometry, tool positioning, and dimensional accuracy before production runs
- Troubleshoot setup issues independently and coordinate with production and engineering teams
- Maintain setup documentation and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Optimize setups for precision, efficiency, and consistency across multiple machine platforms
