Hexa is seeking a Founding Growth Lead to develop and drive the growth strategy for Waniwani in New York City. Waniwani is building a distribution network where service vendors reach customers through AI—reshaping how quote-based services are discovered and purchased.
About the Role
As Founding Growth Lead, you'll own strategy, partnerships, and customer acquisition for Waniwani. You'll work at the intersection of AI and financial services, architecting channels that embed insurance, financing, wealth management, and software solutions directly into large language models where buying decisions are already moving. This is a founding-stage role where you'll build from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Design and execute the go-to-market strategy for Waniwani across the services market
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard service vendors—insurance providers, fintech platforms, wealth advisors, software companies—onto the platform
- Develop distribution partnerships that integrate services into AI-native environments
- Uncover growth opportunities within the multi-trillion-dollar services economy
- Build institutional relationships and negotiate vendor and platform partnerships
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, technology, and operations teams to scale the business
- Track, analyze, and optimize key growth metrics and customer acquisition channels
What We're Looking For
- Track record driving growth or partnerships at early-stage, venture-backed companies
- Demonstrated expertise in financial services, insurance distribution, or SaaS business development
- Ability to spot and capitalize on market opportunities in emerging technology spaces
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with enterprise and institutional partners
- Comfort in ambiguity; ability to navigate fast-changing priorities and undefined roles
- Located in or relocating to New York City
About Waniwani
Waniwani is constructing the infrastructure for quote-based services to be embedded directly into conversational AI platforms. By connecting service vendors with customers inside the AI assistants they use daily, we're creating a new distribution layer that serves the massive, growing services economy.
