Position Summary

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Complete thorough psychosocial assessments and determine appropriate levels of care for new and existing clients
• Deliver individual, couples, family, or group therapy sessions using evidence-informed approaches tailored to each person’s goals
• Develop, update, and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address identified needs and track measurable outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation that supports continuity of care and meets professional and payer requirements
• Coordinate with referral sources, family members, and other providers when collaboration enhances client progress
• Manage a growing fee-for-service caseload efficiently, balancing session availability with quality of service delivery
• Uphold ethical guidelines, confidentiality standards, and Michigan practice regulations at all times

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in social work or closely related clinical field
• Active clinical social work licensure valid for practice in Michigan
• Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy or clinical counseling services
• Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and progress note documentation
• Ability to work independently while remaining connected to a supportive professional network
• Empathy, cultural humility, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Comfort cultivating and sustaining a fee-for-service caseload in a private-practice-style environment
