About the Role
As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will serve as a vital link between patients, research teams, and clinical trials in gynecologic oncology. You'll manage the day-to-day coordination of active studies, ensuring all protocols are followed precisely while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care. Your work directly impacts the advancement of treatment options for women with gynecologic cancers.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and oversee the enrollment and ongoing management of research participants in active clinical trials
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and baseline measurements
- Educate patients about trial procedures, risks, and expectations to ensure informed consent
- Document study activities, patient interactions, and clinical findings with meticulous attention to accuracy
- Monitor participant safety, track adverse events, and maintain regular communication with the study team
- Collect biological samples and coordinate laboratory testing as required by study protocols
- Ensure strict adherence to Good Clinical Practice standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with physicians, oncologists, and research staff to support seamless trial operations
What We're Looking For
- Active RN licensure in the United States with current clinical nursing credentials
- Demonstrated experience in clinical research, oncology nursing, or both
- Knowledge of gynecologic oncology or related specialty preferred
- Strong proficiency in electronic health record systems and research databases
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage patients with empathy and professionalism
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail in documentation
- Understanding of clinical trial protocols and regulatory compliance requirements
