About the Role

As a Data Analyst in Radiology, you'll translate complex datasets into actionable insights that enhance clinical workflows, improve operational efficiency, and support evidence-based practice. Working alongside radiologists, technicians, and administrative teams, you'll design and maintain dashboards, create analytical reports, and identify opportunities for process improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data visualizations and reporting systems for radiology operations
  • Query and analyze clinical and operational datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities
  • Support research initiatives by preparing datasets and conducting exploratory analysis
  • Collaborate with department leadership to define metrics, KPIs, and performance benchmarks
  • Document data workflows, maintain data quality standards, and ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements
  • Troubleshoot data issues and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated proficiency with SQL, Python, R, or similar data analysis languages
  • Experience creating data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent tools
  • Strong ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with healthcare data, HIPAA regulations, or clinical systems preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
