About the Role
As a Circuit Court Clerk I, you are the custodian of the court's documentary foundation. In this critical administrative role, you ensure that every proceeding in this court of general jurisdiction is accurately captured, preserved, and accessible. Your meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills directly support judges, attorneys, and the public in Hawaii's judicial process.
What You'll Do
- Create and maintain the official written record of all court proceedings through accurate minute-taking and documentation
- Receive, catalog, and securely preserve all documents, notices, and evidence presented during court sessions
- Process and organize trial exhibits with precision and proper handling protocols
- Manage case files and maintain the integrity of records from initial filing through archival
- Assist with court scheduling, filing systems, and administrative procedures to keep operations running smoothly
- Interact professionally with judges, court staff, attorneys, and members of the public
- Support the daily operations of the circuit court to ensure timely and efficient case processing
