About the Role
As a part-time associate faculty member in our diesel technology program, you'll deliver hands-on instruction in engine repair, diagnostics, and maintenance to students preparing for careers in the automotive and heavy equipment industries. Your flexible assignment may be temporary, part-time, on-call, or a combination of these arrangements, with start dates as immediate needs arise.
What You'll Do
- Instruct students in diesel engine operation, design, and repair fundamentals
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and hands-on shop training
- Guide students through diagnostic procedures and troubleshooting techniques
- Assess student competency and provide constructive feedback on progress
- Maintain safe, clean, and properly equipped workshop environments
- Collaborate with automotive and transportation industry partners
