As a Human Resources Specialist V (Classification & Compensation) based in Honolulu, you will apply advanced HR knowledge to evaluate positions, maintain equitable pay structures, and ensure classification decisions align with established standards. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and classify positions, recommending appropriate titles, levels, and pay assignments.
- Administer compensation programs and review salary placements for consistency and fairness.
- Interpret and apply classification and compensation rules, policies, and guidelines.
- Advise managers and staff on classification questions and pay-related matters.
- Document recommendations and support broader human resources initiatives across the Judiciary.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated background in human resources, with emphasis on classification and compensation work.

- Strong analytical, written, and interpersonal skills for advising stakeholders.
- Qualifications consistent with appointment at the SR-24 level; candidates may also be considered at lower levels within this multi-level recruitment.
