Join Larksfield Place as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) on our overnight team in Comotara, Sedgwick County. This is a part-time, third-shift position serving our assisted living community.
About the Role
As an overnight float CNA, you'll provide essential direct care to residents across our assisted living facility during the third shift. Your role is critical to our residents' comfort, safety, and well-being during evening and nighttime hours. Float assignments give you variety and the opportunity to support different units while building relationships across our community. We offer competitive compensation: starting base pay of $15.50 per hour with higher rates based on experience, plus a $1.00 third-shift differential, $2.00 weekend differential, and a $2.00 per hour perfect attendance bonus for part-time team members.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, including hygiene, grooming, toileting, and dressing
- Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and ensure comfort
- Monitor vital signs and report changes or concerns to nursing staff
- Maintain clean, safe resident rooms and common areas
- Support residents' dignity and independence while providing compassionate care
- Respond promptly to resident requests and call lights
- Document care activities accurately as required
Who We're Looking For
- Valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification for your state
- Ability to work third shift (overnight hours) with flexibility for float assignments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
