About the Role

As a CDL A Team Driver with Roadrunner, you'll operate a commercial vehicle as part of a team operation, delivering freight across the country. Unlike traditional carrier jobs, you'll have complete control over which loads you accept and which routes you run. This 1099 role is built for drivers who want the independence of running their own operation while backed by a logistics company that doesn't compete with you for freight or force dispatch decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle safely and professionally, following all DOT and regulatory requirements
• Select loads and routes that match your team's preferences and schedule
• Coordinate with your driving partner to manage split driving, rest periods, and home time
• Maintain accurate logs, vehicle maintenance records, and documentation
• Deliver freight reliably and on schedule

Who We're Looking For

• Current CDL A license with a clean driving record
• Experience driving as a team or willingness to build a team from scratch
• Ability to work independently and make business decisions for your operation
• Professional communication and problem-solving skills
