About the Role
As a Class A Commercial Driver, you'll operate a tractor-trailer delivering fresh and dry food products to restaurants, hotels, and foodservice operators across our service territory. You'll be the face of Sysco with our customers, managing your vehicle professionally and ensuring every delivery meets our safety and service standards.
What You'll Do
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and in compliance with all DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Load, transport, and deliver foodservice products to customer locations
- Manage delivery routes efficiently while meeting on-time performance targets
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Uphold Sysco's safety protocols and customer service standards at every stop
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2+ years of commercial driving experience (preferred)
- Ability to work full-time, including potential early morning and weekend hours
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physical capability to assist with product handling and loading
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
