About the Role
Positioned within the Litigation Practice Business Development team, this role focuses on identifying new client opportunities, assisting with proposal preparation, and maintaining relationship‑management systems to drive strategic initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Research market trends and competitor activity to uncover potential litigation matters.
- Collaborate with attorneys and practice leaders to develop tailored business‑development plans.
- Assist in the creation of qualifications, pitches, and presentation materials for prospective clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, deal pipelines, and activity metrics in the firm’s CRM.
- Coordinate logistics for client events, seminars, and industry conferences.
- Provide administrative support to the business‑development team, including scheduling and document preparation.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of outreach efforts.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or client‑service roles, preferably within a professional‑services or legal environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and standard office software.
