Role Overview
We are hiring a Business Development Manager to join our Eastern Marketing team! This professional will be primarily responsible for business development efforts and brand strategy within the states of New York, New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and the New England region. This role involves evaluating production patterns in new and renewal business to uncover opportunities for refinements that support profitable growth.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Evaluate production patterns in new and renewal business to identify opportunities for refinement
- Develop business development strategies by industry, class code, or segment within the specified territory
- Collaborate with other Business Development Managers, Underwriting management, and additional corporate resources to develop and monitor/evaluate agency performance
- Stay ahead of competitive intelligence to prevent production barriers and develop opportunities to improve ease of doing business with BHHC
- Provide input to improve the overall customer experience
- Frequent travel within the specified territory is required
