About the Role
Singapore is where the institutional future of digital assets is being built. As a Business Development Manager for Singapore, you will drive commercial relationships with institutions that need it most — exchanges and DPT licensees, banks and financial institutions moving into tokenisation, protocols and Web3 native teams, and the funds and infrastructure providers around them.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Build a pipeline of potential clients by identifying opportunities rather than waiting for leads to come in.
- Engage with decision-makers at these institutions to understand their security and compliance needs.
- Negotiate and close deals that align with the strategic goals of both Certik and its partners.
- Work alongside a team specialized in capital markets, policy, technical auditing, forensics, and on-chain surveillance.
Requirements
- A strong ability to build relationships and close deals in a sophisticated market.
- The capacity to hold knowledgeable conversations with both CTOs about smart contract risks and Chief Compliance Officers about transaction monitoring and licensing obligations.
- Self-directed approach towards building your own pipeline of opportunities rather than waiting for them to come to you.
- A deep understanding that regulatory shifts in the digital asset market are commercial events, requiring proactive action.
