Position Summary
At Slattery Auctions, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. This part-time role is based in North Ward, Townsville, and will be instrumental in driving new business opportunities and expanding our client base across various asset sectors.
<h2-Core Duties- Identify and pursue potential clients within the automotive, road transport, earthmoving, mining, marine, and aviation industries.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure long-term business growth.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic business development initiatives.
- Prepare and present proposals, pitches, and reports to potential clients.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or related field within the auction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing business growth strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and client needs.
