The Opportunity

This full-time Boucher position offers day shift work with 30–40 hours per week at our Montréal location. We're seeking an experienced meat professional to take a leading role in our butcher department, where precision, food safety, and customer satisfaction are paramount. You'll be part of a dedicated team at one of Montréal's trusted grocery destinations.

Your Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and prepare fresh meat and poultry to precise specifications for retail display and customer orders
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing meat displays that meet food safety and presentation standards
• Execute proper handling, storage, and rotation of all meat products according to health and safety regulations
• Provide knowledgeable customer service, answering questions and fulfilling custom cutting requests
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management on ordering and product availability
• Uphold strict hygiene and sanitation protocols throughout the department

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a Boucher or butcher in a grocery or retail setting
• Strong knowledge of meat cuts, quality assessment, and food safety practices
• Proficiency with butcher equipment and tools
• Attention to detail and commitment to presentation and product quality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work reliably in a fast-paced environment
