Board Certified Disability Peer Physician Reviewer – Medical Oncology

About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking Board Certified Physicians specializing in Medical Oncology to conduct disability peer reviews. This is a fully remote, independent consultant position (1099) that allows you to work from anywhere in the United States while maintaining complete schedule flexibility.

You will evaluate disability claims through clinical review—no patient treatment or direct care is involved. This advisory-only role allows you to leverage your medical expertise in a non-clinical capacity with predictable hours that fit your lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate disability claims using provided medical records and documentation
• Provide expert clinical opinions on disability determinations
• Complete case reviews within typical turnaround times of 3-5 business days
• Deliver quality determinations and reports based on clinical assessment
• Participate in initial training and maintain ongoing communication with support team
• Manage your own caseload volume and schedule based on availability

What We're Looking For

• Board Certification in Medical Oncology
• Current, unrestricted medical license in the United States
• Minimum 5 years of clinical practice experience
• Experience conducting Disability Peer Reviews strongly preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working with digital case management systems
