Automotive Technician

The Opportunity

As an Automotive Technician at our Davie location, you'll perform hands-on vehicle maintenance and repairs, apply your technical problem-solving skills, and contribute to customer satisfaction in a structured, team-oriented environment. You'll work with a variety of vehicle makes and models, using diagnostic and service equipment to complete jobs efficiently and to our high standards. This full-time opportunity allows you to build your expertise while supporting one of North America's largest automotive service networks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle mechanical and electrical problems using industry-standard diagnostic tools
• Perform preventive maintenance services including oil changes, tire service, fluid top-ups, and filter replacements
• Repair vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and related components
• Document all work completed, parts used, and service observations in company records
• Communicate with customers about vehicle conditions, necessary repairs, and service recommendations
• Maintain compliance with all safety standards and service quality procedures
• Support team productivity and efficiency in the service facility

Who We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving capability
• Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliability, accuracy, and conscientiousness in technical work
• Ability to function effectively within a team structure
• Valid driver's license
