About the Role
Jobot is hiring a full-time Insurance Defense Attorney in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County. This is an opportunity to join a firm with more than 125 years of standing in the legal community, handling a broad range of dockets while staying actively engaged in the courtroom. The position offers a base salary of $110,000–$160,000 per year plus bonus potential. This Jobot role is hosted by Stanton Sikorski.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of civil litigation and insurance defense matters from intake through resolution.
- Represent clients in court, contributing to meaningful and frequent courtroom appearances.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents with precision.
- Conduct legal research, develop case strategy, and advise clients on exposure and outcomes.
- Collaborate with seasoned colleagues to build and grow an established litigation practice.
Qualifications
- Active license to practice law in California and good standing with the State Bar.
- Demonstrated experience building or managing a civil litigation practice.
- Hands-on courtroom and litigation experience across varied case types.
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently while contributing to a team.
