Deloitte is hiring an Associate Vice President, Engineering Delivery Management (Health Benefits) to lead the execution of our BenefitsIQ platform in Arlington Heights, Cook County. About the Role
You'll oversee the delivery of product capabilities and technical initiatives for our health benefits platform, connecting engineering excellence with business strategy. In this Associate Vice President position, you'll ensure that technical execution aligns with organizational priorities, market needs, and client expectations while fostering high-performing delivery teams.
What You'll Do
- Direct delivery and execution of product roadmaps and technical programs for our health benefits solutions
- Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into actionable delivery plans
- Manage program timelines, resource allocation, and accountability across cross-functional teams
- Identify operational bottlenecks, remove barriers to delivery, and implement process improvements
- Shape technical strategy decisions that balance innovation, scalability, and customer value
- Build and mentor engineering and delivery teams through organizational growth
- Report on progress, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership and key stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years in engineering delivery, product leadership, or technical program management
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale product delivery in health benefits, insurance, or regulated industries
- Deep understanding of software engineering practices, cloud platforms, and modern product development
- Proven ability to influence and align stakeholders across engineering, product, and business functions
- Excellent communication skills for engaging both technical and business audiences
- Track record leading teams through major technology transformation or platform initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
