Associate Director, Integrated Marketing – Pilotage Stratégique du Marché France

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential international client in the lifestyle technology sector, actively growing its presence in the French market. They are seeking an Associate Director, Integrated Marketing to lead strategic market development for France.

In this role, you will own the French market end-to-end: identifying challenges and opportunities, building the strategy, and executing it. This position is designed for someone comfortable operating autonomously, wearing multiple hats, and who values strategic thinking as much as hands-on execution.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Leading the French market comprehensively: diagnosing market dynamics, developing strategy, and executing initiatives
• Determining the marketing mix and making strategic recommendations on paid media allocation
• Managing daily collaboration with media agencies, ensuring strategic alignment and continuous optimization of paid channels
• Building integrated multi-channel marketing plans (media, influencer, PR, partnerships) from brief development through performance analysis
• Communicating market insights, strategy, and results regularly to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
• Adapting global learnings to the French market and sharing local insights back to the global organization

What We're Looking For

• Proven leadership experience with demonstrated ability to supervise channel leads and drive cohesive overall strategy
• 8-10 years of experience in brand marketing, integrated marketing, or strategic marketing, ideally within consumer tech, lifestyle, or culturally-driven brands
• Marketing and/or media experience with deep expertise and genuine understanding of the French market
• Demonstrated track record of autonomously leading a market from diagnosis through execution
• Proven experience launching multi-channel campaigns that generate both emotional connection and measurable results
• Strong understanding of the media landscape, channels, and performance measurement
• Solid analytical skills with demonstrated use of data and metrics to measure impact and adjust strategy accordingly
• Experience managing partnerships with celebrities, talent, influencers, or content creators, including agency relationship management (a plus)
• Comfortable operating without a large team, wearing multiple hats, and working autonomously
• Native or bilingual French speaker; fluent English essential
