About the Role

The Ticket Clinic seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our Remerton office and contribute to our mission of providing vigorous criminal and traffic defense representation. In this full-time position, you'll work alongside experienced trial lawyers and support staff to represent clients facing everything from traffic infractions to serious felony charges. This role offers the opportunity to develop courtroom skills, build client relationships, and advance your legal career within a well-established criminal defense firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in criminal and traffic matters throughout Georgia's court system
• Prepare legal documents, motions, and filings for assigned cases
• Conduct client consultations and maintain professional communication throughout case proceedings
• Participate in plea negotiations, court appearances, and trial preparation
• Research relevant case law and develop effective defense strategies
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and paralegals to manage caseload effectively

Skills & Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Georgia (or willingness to obtain licensure)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a high-volume environment
