About the Role
In this position, you'll provide direct personal care and support to clients in their homes throughout North Bay Shore, Suffolk County. You'll work full-time with flexible scheduling that accommodates your life while building meaningful relationships with the individuals and families you serve.
What You'll Do
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support mobility and activities of daily living
- Provide companionship and emotional support within professional boundaries
- Perform light housekeeping and help with meal preparation as part of client care
- Monitor client condition and communicate changes to supervisors
- Follow individualized care plans with attention to each client's preferences and needs
What We're Looking For
- Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) certification, or willingness to obtain certification
- Genuine commitment to supporting seniors and adults with dignity and compassion
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Reliable, professional demeanor, and ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred for certain assignments)
- Availability for flexible scheduling
