About the Role
As a Safety and Health Specialist with Buzzi Unicem USA, you will play a central part in advancing a strong culture of workplace safety at our Cape Girardeau operations. This on-site position supports day-to-day health, safety, and environmental practices across manufacturing and distribution activities, helping ensure employees go home safe and our facilities meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and reinforce safe work practices throughout the Cape Girardeau facility
- Support compliance with applicable occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Assist with safety training, orientations, and ongoing employee awareness initiatives
- Conduct workplace inspections and help identify and address potential hazards
- Contribute to incident investigations and the development of corrective measures
- Help maintain accurate safety records, documentation, and reporting
