About the Role
As Assistant Property Manager at our Menlo Park location, you'll support the daily operations of our commercial property portfolio. This is a hands-on position where you'll develop deeper expertise in property administration, tenant relations, and facility management while working alongside experienced property professionals.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate with tenants on lease terms, rent payments, and operational questions
- Assist with maintenance requests, vendor coordination, and facility inspections
- Support rent collection and account reconciliation processes
- Help maintain property records, lease documentation, and compliance files
- Contribute to move-in/move-out procedures and tenant relations
- Participate in property walkthroughs and building condition assessments
- Manage administrative tasks that keep our operations running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in commercial property management or related field
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working directly with tenants and contractors
- Interest in learning how commercial properties and businesses operate
- Attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to multitask and respond to operational priorities in a busy office environment
- Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and property management software (experience with specific platforms a plus)
