Chanel is hiring an Assistant Manager, Operations for our Westfield UTC location in San Diego. This is a full-time opportunity to lead operational excellence and support our team in one of the West Coast's premier retail destinations.

About the Role

As Assistant Manager of Operations at our San Diego boutique, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining our high standards, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive work environment. You'll support store leadership, oversee operational processes, and contribute directly to our team's success and client experience.

What You'll Do

• Support store management in operational planning and execution
• Oversee inventory management, stock organization, and supply ordering
• Coordinate staffing schedules and ensure adequate team coverage
• Maintain store appearance, visual merchandising standards, and facility cleanliness
• Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures
• Assist with team training, onboarding, and performance development
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate deliveries
• Support sales team initiatives and contribute to revenue targets
• Handle administrative tasks and report on operational metrics
• Champion customer service excellence and address client concerns

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in retail operations, store management, or a similar leadership role
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Experience with inventory systems or POS software (preferred)
• Physical ability to move stock and work flexible retail hours
• Passion for luxury retail or high-end customer service
