Asset Protection Specialist

What This Role Involves

As an Asset Protection Specialist at our Parker, Douglas County location, you'll serve as a guardian against theft, fraud, and other financial risks that impact our business. Your work directly reduces shrinkage, strengthens internal controls, and ensures our team operates safely and in compliance with all relevant regulations.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor store operations and CCTV systems to identify and document suspicious activities and policy violations
• Investigate incidents of suspected theft and fraud, gathering evidence and coordinating with management
• Review exception reports and transaction data to uncover patterns and vulnerabilities
• Support safety and environmental compliance initiatives across your assigned store locations
• Collaborate with store leadership to strengthen loss prevention practices and close security gaps
• Document findings and maintain accurate records of investigations and incidents
• Train and educate team members on loss prevention and security procedures

Who We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in data and behavior
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of store staff
• Proficiency with loss prevention tools, systems, and CCTV technology
• Understanding of retail operations and common loss prevention risks
• Commitment to ethical, honest, and professional conduct
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed to support store operations
