About the Role
As an IRR Teacher supporting Area 1 elementary students, you'll provide specialized instruction and interventions across classroom settings, working directly with students receiving special education services. This full-time position is based at Ashford Park Elementary and requires implementing evidence-based teaching practices that maximize student achievement and support academic success.
What You'll Do
- Deliver direct special education instruction aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Implement and promote high academic expectations through best practices and differentiated instruction
- Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and families to coordinate comprehensive student support
- Monitor student progress, assess skill development, and adjust instruction to meet individual learning needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning decisions
- Maintain inclusive, supportive learning environments that encourage student growth
