About the Role
As a Crew Leader - Sanitation with the City of Dallas, you will lead, support, and coordinate the daily work of a sanitation collections crew. This is a full-time, on-site Civil Service position based in the United States, ideal for an experienced operator ready to take ownership of crew performance, safety, and service delivery across assigned routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee a sanitation collections crew throughout daily routes and assignments.
- Coordinate scheduling, workloads, and equipment to keep collection operations running efficiently.
- Train, mentor, and support crew members while reinforcing safe work practices.
- Monitor service quality and ensure routes are completed accurately and on time.
- Inspect vehicles and equipment, reporting maintenance needs and addressing issues promptly.
- Uphold City of Dallas standards, policies, and Civil Service requirements in all crew activities.
