Gpac is seeking an Electrical Project Manager/Estimator to join a growing electrical contractor team in Seattle, King County. This full‑time position focuses on overseeing project execution while preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial and industrial electrical work.

About the Role

The successful candidate will partner with field crews, designers, and clients to keep projects on schedule and within budget. They will also translate architectural drawings into detailed takeoffs and competitive bids.

What You'll Do

  • Develop detailed cost estimates using industry‑standard software and material takeoffs.
  • Prepare and submit bid packages that meet client specifications and competitive pricing.
  • Manage project timelines, coordinate labor and material deliveries, and monitor progress against milestones.
  • Ensure all work adheres to NEC, local codes, and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and owners to clarify scope and resolve design conflicts early.
  • Track budgets, approve change orders, and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior estimators and project engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum three years of experience in electrical estimating and project management for commercial or industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local jurisdictional requirements.
  • Proficiency with estimating platforms such as Accubid, Trimble, or Bluebeam, and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and design teams.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and keep multiple projects moving simultaneously.
  • OSHA 30‑hour certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites within the Puget Sound region as needed.
