What This Role Involves

As an Animal Caretaker Manager In Training, you'll work under the guidance of experienced managers to learn the operations, systems, and practices that keep our animal care facilities running safely and efficiently. You'll be developing your ability to oversee daily animal husbandry tasks, train team members, and ensure compliance with all care standards and health protocols. This is a track into management within our animal caretaking operations.

Core Duties

• Assist in supervising animal care activities and day-to-day operations on the facility
• Monitor animal health and welfare, identifying and reporting any concerns
• Maintain facility cleanliness, equipment operation, and record-keeping
• Support senior managers in training and directing caretaking staff
• Learn and apply feed management, environmental control, and biosecurity protocols
• Participate in problem-solving and process improvements within the operation
