Tenpo at a glance

tenpo.com

Tenpo is a fintech brand operating under tenpo.com. This listing is for process work on payment solutions with a collections (cobranza) focus, so day-to-day impact is operational reliability, recovery workflows, and payment-rail quality rather than pure product marketing.

Tenpo is hiring an Analista de Procesos de Soluciones de Pago (Cobranza) to join its Payment Solutions team and help scale operations at Chile's first fully digital neobank. This is a full-time role based in the United States.

About the Role

As Tenpo's Process Analyst for Payment Solutions, you will map, document, and continuously refine the operational workflows behind the company's collections function. From customer segmentation through case closure, you will ensure every process runs with efficiency, full traceability, and regulatory compliance—directly enabling the area to grow the neobank's regulated credit business with consistent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Map end-to-end Payment Solutions processes using flowcharts, BPMN, or comparable methodologies, keeping documentation accurate, current, and easy for internal teams to access.
  • Examine existing workflows to surface bottlenecks, redundancies, inefficiencies, and operational risks, then propose improvements weighed by impact and feasibility.
  • Drive the rollout of approved process changes, partnering with operations and technology teams to secure smooth adoption without disruption.
  • Confirm that documented and executed processes meet CMF regulatory expectations and Tenpo's internal operational-risk controls.
  • Maintain the area's repository of procedures, operating manuals, and control matrices, ensuring versioning and a clear audit trail.
  • Contribute to digital transformation efforts by gathering business requirements and coordinating with IT and Product on automation initiatives.
  • Build onboarding and training materials so new team members and stakeholders understand the area's processes.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Commercial Engineering, Industrial Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Native Spanish; basic English for reading process-management documentation.
  • Hands-on process modeling with BPMN, flowcharts, or equivalent methods, plus advanced Excel or Google Sheets for analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with continuous-improvement methods such as Lean and Six Sigma, and an understanding of regulated financial environments (CMF or equivalent).
  • One to three years in process, continuous-improvement, operations, or quality roles within financial services or a similar industry.
  • Desirable: Lean Six Sigma certification, tools like Lucidchart, Draw.io, Bizagi, or Jira, basic SQL, and prior experience leading process redesign or automation in fintechs or neobanks.

About Tenpo

With more than 400 professionals, Tenpo is Chile's first neobank—a fully digital, inclusive financial ecosystem built to remove the barriers of traditional banking. Driven by technology and a clear sense of purpose, Tenpo champions diversity and fosters a safe, inclusive workplace for everyone.

About this role & career path

Strong base for payments operations, collections process design, or fintech ops excellence. Next steps often include senior process/BA roles, payments product ops, or risk/collections operations leadership if you deepen domain metrics and cross-team delivery.

Build the skills for this role

Prioritize process mapping (BPMN or equivalent), root-cause analysis, and payment/collections domain literacy (settlement, dunning, retries, reconciliation). Add SQL or spreadsheet analytics for volume/SLA tracking and stakeholder writing that turns findings into owned action plans. No certification list was supplied for this role family.

Prepare a case: improve a failed-payment or overdue-recovery path—baseline metrics, bottlenecks, controls, and rollout. Be ready on SLA definitions, exception queues, vendor/bank dependencies, and how you validate a process change without harming customer or regulatory outcomes.

Best fit for structured process analysts who like fintech operations, can work with ops and product partners, and stay calm under payment exceptions. Less ideal if you want pure software engineering or sales-only collection calling without process design ownership.
