Advisor, Senior (CAT/CFO) with Security Clearance

Sabre Systems is hiring a Senior Advisor with an active security clearance to support a U.S. Navy customer in San Diego, California. This full-time position focuses on operational readiness and sustainment, where you'll help optimize mission effectiveness while managing costs and constrained resources through collaborative, data-driven strategies.

What This Role Involves

As a Senior Advisor at Sabre Systems, you'll serve as a strategic resource for one of our Navy customer's most critical operational priorities. Working within a collaborative environment grounded in data and metrics, you'll contribute to end-to-end readiness ecosystems spanning operations, maintenance, and engineering. Your focus will be balancing competing demands—ensuring fleet readiness, controlling program costs, and maximizing the value of limited resources—with both strategic insight and hands-on problem-solving capability.

What You'll Do

• Develop readiness strategies and sustainment recommendations based on operational data and customer priorities
• Analyze performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and inform customer leadership decisions
• Coordinate across operations, maintenance, engineering, and finance functions to align execution with strategic objectives
• Support cost optimization efforts by recommending process improvements and resource reallocation strategies
• Participate in readiness assessments, program planning sessions, and strategic reviews with senior Navy personnel
• Provide subject-matter expertise during planning cycles and customer engagement activities

What We're Looking For

• An active security clearance (Secret or higher); eligible to pursue higher clearance if needed
• Extensive experience in military readiness, sustainment operations, or defense program support roles
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with demonstrated success using data to drive decisions
• Strong executive communication skills; ability to synthesize complex information for senior stakeholders
• Proven cross-functional coordination across operations, maintenance, engineering, and financial planning
• Knowledge of Navy operations, defense acquisition, or military readiness environments
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in related field
