Accounts Receivable Specialist

American Technology Consulting is hiring a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to support Department of Community Services payment operations and vendor management. In this role, you'll manage vendor documentation, establish payment systems, and serve as a key resource for suppliers across the DCS network.

About the Role

This position maintains critical vendor payment workflows by processing registrations, configuring accounts, and supporting ongoing account management. You'll interact with diverse supplier categories and coordinate with multiple internal teams to ensure smooth vendor operations within the Department of Community Services.

What You'll Do

• Process vendor registration forms from DCS suppliers including foster parents, adoptive parents, relatives, contracted and non-contracted service providers, child care facilities, and retail establishments
• Set up vendor accounts and configure payment system access for authorized suppliers
• Manage vendor record updates including address changes, banking information modifications, and status adjustments
• Field vendor phone inquiries and support the DCS Payment Research Unit and Resource Unit
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and records for compliance and verification
