Account Executive – France

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential SaaS organization that is transforming operations within the food supply chain sector. We are seeking an Account Executive to develop the French market from our client's London base. This role offers the opportunity to bring modern technology solutions to an industry ready for digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete sales cycle from initial prospecting through contract signature, targeting food distribution businesses across France
• Build and maintain your own sales pipeline through cold outreach, referrals, industry events, field visits, and professional networks
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations that directly address operational challenges faced by prospective customers
• Lead consultative sales conversations, understanding distributor operations and building clear business cases for change
• Navigate diverse sales cycles, adapting your approach for family-run suppliers and complex, multi-stakeholder organizations
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth client transitions and provide market feedback
• Contribute to sales team effectiveness by sharing customer insights and testing new approaches

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of software sales experience, ideally with progression from SDR/BDR to Account Executive
• Consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas and targets
• Proven success with self-sourced pipeline generation and outbound prospecting
• Demonstrated ability to manage full sales cycles from prospecting through close
• Experience managing mid-market sales cycles with focus on value-based selling
• Fluency in both French and English (C1+ level)
• Comfort working in fast-paced environments while managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, working with internal teams to deliver solutions
• Ability to pivot strategy and balance relationship-building with consultative selling

Pay
