Position Summary
We are seeking a driven Account Executive specializing in EdTech to accelerate new business acquisition across our education-focused portfolio companies. This role involves engaging with K–12 districts, higher education institutions, credentialing bodies, and academic programs of all sizes, from small schools to large, complex university systems.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Engage in consultative selling to navigate academic decision-making committees
- Develop and maintain relationships with K–12 districts, higher education institutions, credentialing bodies, and academic programs
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the EdTech sector
- Drive revenue growth for Cordance's portfolio companies by securing new clients and expanding existing ones
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a focus on EdTech
- Strong consultative selling skills and ability to navigate academic decision-making processes
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through new business acquisition
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization
- Experience working with K–12 districts, higher education institutions, credentialing bodies, and academic programs is preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously
