About the Role

This Account Director position sits at the intersection of strategic consulting and enterprise client partnership. You'll oversee all aspects of assigned accounts within the energy provider vertical, balancing new business development with retention and expansion of existing relationships. The role demands significant travel—up to 75% of the time—to meet with clients, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure delivery of exceptional consulting services across cyber resilience, technology, management strategy, and power systems domains.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies to maximize revenue and client lifetime value within the energy provider sector
• Lead cross-functional account teams and coordinate across Guidehouse's consulting divisions to deliver integrated solutions
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships, serving as primary liaison to key decision-makers
• Identify account expansion opportunities and present strategic advisory recommendations
• Monitor account health, forecast revenue, and report metrics to senior leadership
• Mentor and develop team members to support professional growth and account excellence
