Account Director, Consumer Brand

Burson is hiring a full-time Account Director to lead client relationships and strategic communications initiatives in our Los Angeles office. This is an opportunity to advance brands and businesses through reputation management at one of the world's leading independent communications agencies.

About the Role

As Account Director, you will own the end-to-end client experience for consumer brand accounts, translating business objectives into strategic communications plans. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trust and demonstrating measurable impact across campaigns and programs.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute integrated communications strategies that strengthen brand reputation and drive business results
• Lead cross-functional teams including strategists, content creators, and media specialists to deliver client work on time and within scope
• Conduct stakeholder research and competitive analysis to inform strategic recommendations
• Present campaign concepts, performance data, and insights to client leadership
• Identify growth opportunities and expand account scope through strategic account management
• Manage budgets, timelines, and project workflows to ensure operational excellence
• Collaborate with industry-leading creative and technology teams to deliver breakthrough solutions

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of account management experience in public relations, communications, or advertising
• Demonstrated success building and maintaining client relationships at the director level
• Strong understanding of consumer marketing, brand positioning, and communications strategy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior executives
• Experience managing teams and cross-functional projects
• Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field
