About the Role
This role supports classroom instruction and behavioral interventions for students in preK‑12 settings, working closely with teachers and specialists to implement individualized plans.
What You'll Do
- Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and lesson preparation
- Provide one‑on‑one or small‑group support to students with diverse learning needs
- Implement behavior‑intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA or licensed clinician
- Collect and record data on student progress and share findings with the educational team
- Help students develop social, communication, and self‑regulation skills
- Prepare instructional materials and adapt resources to meet individual accommodations
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in education, psychology, or related fields is a plus
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain it
- Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in an educational or therapeutic setting
- Solid understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, and behavior‑support strategies
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Patience, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering student growth
- Reliable attendance and the ability to follow scheduled part‑time hours
