SEJ Services is hiring a 2nd Shift Floating Cleaner for multiple sites in Hickory, Catawba County. Join our team as a full-time general cleaner and help maintain clean, professional commercial facilities across our service area.
About the Role
As a 2nd Shift Floating Cleaner, you'll deliver high-quality cleaning and maintenance services across multiple client locations in and around Hickory. Your flexibility, reliability, and attention to detail will keep our diverse facility portfolio—from office buildings and medical centers to manufacturing and educational facilities—clean and ready for operations each day.
What You'll Do
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting across assigned facilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to company standards
- Empty trash, manage waste removal, and maintain facility organization
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Work the 2nd shift schedule with flexibility to service multiple client sites
- Report maintenance issues and communicate facility needs to management
- Demonstrate professionalism and build positive relationships with clients and team members
