The Opportunity

Jesuit Social Services is seeking a dedicated Intensive Support Worker to join our team in Reservoir. As an Intensive Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals who require intensive care and attention. This part-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people's lives while working within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support services to clients with complex needs, including personal care, social interaction, and emotional support.
• Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other professionals.
• Assist clients in accessing community resources and services as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of a Certificate III in Community Services or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals who have complex needs, including those with disabilities or mental health issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• A current Victorian Driver’s License is required for this role.
