Position Summary

The Technical Records Specialist I reports to the A/C Records Manager and is responsible for analyzing, reconciling, and auditing of maintenance accomplishment data in TRAX and other databases. This role ensures that original and electronic records are accurate, meet official technical documentation standards, and are properly tracked in TRAX. The position also assists with compliance to FAA requirements and company policies regarding Airworthiness Directives, Task/Engineering Document compliance, and Life Limited Parts Removal.

Core Duties

  • Analyze original and electronic records for accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Audit assignments in TRAX to ensure proper tracking.
  • Ensure complete retention methods of records (paper file or electronic storage).
  • Support compliance with 121.380 FAA requirements.
  • Maintain documentation of Airworthiness Directives, Task/Engineering Document compliance, and Life Limited Parts Removal.
  • Familiarity with airline industry operations procedures, general maintenance manuals, and Federal Aviation regulations (FARs) related to aircraft recordkeeping and retention requirements.
  • Proficiency in updating complex record-keeping systems such as TRAX eMRO and Flydocs.
  • Expertise in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office products.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a Technical Records Specialist I with a minimum of two years of experience maintaining aviation maintenance records, such as Production Control or Quality Assurance. Experience in comparable positions within the airline industry and familiarity with documentations systems is preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required. Must pass a criminal background check.
