About the Role

The Corporate Chief Engineer at Bfsaulhotels is responsible for supporting and guiding the ongoing maintenance and capital improvement process across all hotels in the Hospitality Group of the B.F. Saul Company. This role also directly leads the maintenance and capital improvement processes for the Embassy Suites Dulles. The ideal candidate will possess a creative vision, entrepreneurial thinking, and extensive knowledge of hospitality assets and building systems, with a strong background in maintaining MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems. A process-driven individual with a focus on fiscal responsibility is essential to exceed guest expectations, achieve financial results, and maintain positive team member relations.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide the ongoing maintenance and capital improvement processes for all hotels in the Hospitality Group.
• Directly lead the maintenance and capital improvement process for the Embassy Suites Dulles.
• Develop engineering departmental policies and training activities.
• Collaborate with the AVP, Capital Assets & Engineering, and Regional Vice Presidents.
• Maintain, protect, and improve properties in line with the company's mission statement.
• Work closely with hotel engineering departments to ensure effective implementation of maintenance programming and corporate standards.
