About This Position
The Watermark Hotel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, this role will be responsible for managing all human resources functions at The Watermark Hotel. As an integral part of B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group's leadership team, you will play a key role in setting strategic direction and implementing initiatives that support guest satisfaction and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement human resources strategies to attract top talent and enhance the guest experience
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to employment practices
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations processes
- Conduct regular training sessions for employees across various departments
- Facilitate communication between staff and upper management to ensure alignment of goals and objectives
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in human resources, preferably within the hospitality industry
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Human Resources Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage employees
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management software
